Heatstore 9kW Air Curtain Installation
Envo Facilities was appointed to supply and install a Heatstore 9kW, 1500mm wide air curtain at the NHS facility located within Manor Walks Shopping Centre. The installation aims to improve energy efficiency, maintain internal temperatures, and enhance comfort for staff and visitors by reducing heat loss at busy entrance points.

Our Approach
Air Curtain Supply & Installation
We supplied and installed a Heatstore 9kW air curtain measuring 1500mm in width. The unit was mounted using manufacturer-approved hardware and aligned to maximise airflow coverage across the entrance. The installation ensures warm air retention inside the premises while reducing draughts caused by frequent door openings.
Electrical Supply Installation
A new 3-phase electrical supply was installed, complete with circuit protection and fully certified connections. This ensured safe operation of the high-power heating equipment and compliance with BS 7671 electrical standards.
Out-of-Hours Work
To avoid disruption to NHS operations and visitor access, all works were completed outside normal operating hours. This allowed safe access to installation areas and ensured that services remained fully operational during daytime periods.
