Deep Cleaning of Drive-Thru & External Surfaces
Envo Facilities was commissioned to undertake a full deep-clean of external surfaces around the McDonalds drive-thru at Cameron Park, Metrocentre. High-traffic fast-food sites accumulate grease, carbon deposits, food waste staining, and vehicle residue. The objective was to restore cleanliness, improve visual appearance, and ensure customer-facing areas remained safe, hygienic, and slip-resistant.
The Challenge
- ▸ Degrease and pressure-clean the full drive-thru lane.
- ▸ Deep-clean surrounding blockwork and re-sand paving joints.
- ▸ Clean and rejuvenate concrete pathways around the building.
- ▸ Degrease and pressure-steam the yellow-paved pathway leading to the road.
- ▸ Return the area to a safe, high-appearance finish with minimal disruption.
Our Approach
Drive-Thru Deep Clean
The full drive-thru route was treated with commercial degreaser and pressure-steam equipment. This removed oil residue, tyre marks, food spills, and embedded grease from high-traffic zones.
Blockwork Cleaning & Re-Sanding
Surrounding blockwork was thoroughly degreased and pressure-cleaned to lift dark staining and built-up residues. Once cleaned and dried, the surface was re-sanded to stabilise joints and improve long-term durability.
Concrete Pathway Cleaning
The concrete pathway on the side of the building was steam-cleaned, removing organic staining and restoring a brighter, cleaner appearance.
External Paving + Pathway
The pedestrian pathway leading toward the road, constructed with yellow block paving, was degreased and pressure-steam treated to remove traffic film, algae, and grease buildup.
Results Delivered
- Drive-thru and adjoining pathways restored to a clean, bright finish.
- Improved slip-resistance and safety across customer and staff routes.
- Blockwork strengthened and stabilised following re-sanding.
- Significant improvement to the appearance of customer-facing areas.
- All work completed promptly with no disruption to operations.
Our Environmental Commitment
